I’m Kev, an Aberdeenshire photographer capturing elopements across Scotland. I’ll keep things relaxed, give you guidance when you need it and photograph the day as it happens.

A small day with plenty of room for you
Your elopement might be a few hours or a whole day, with time for getting ready, the ceremony, a wander together and a proper celebration afterwards.
We’ll talk through the plan and make sure photography fits around it, so the day never feels like it is being run for the camera.
A WEE BIT OF DIRECTION
You can just get on with being married
You are not expected to arrive knowing what to do. I’ll give you a bit of direction when it helps, keep things moving when they need moved, and step back when you just need space.
We can wander, stop for a dram, climb a hill or head somewhere warm. It should feel like part of your wedding day, not a separate shoot bolted onto it.
HOW IT WORKS
The Elopement Experience
BEFORE YOUR DAY
We’ll chat about your date, who is coming and what you want the day to feel like. I’ll help with the timings, make sure the photography fits the plan and send a personalised quote with any travel clearly explained.
ON YOUR DAY
You get married and enjoy it. I’ll photograph what is happening, organise the few bits that need organised and leave plenty of room for the two of you to take the day in.
AFTER YOUR DAY
Your previews will arrive the next working day, followed by a high-resolution online gallery you can download and share. Prints, albums and wall art are there if you want something made properly for home.
THERE IS NO SET WAY TO ELOPE
Build a day that actually suits you
An elopement can be as simple or as full as you want it to be. The important bit is having enough room to enjoy the day, rather than squeezing everything into somebody else’s idea of a wedding.
KEEP IT SIMPLE
A ceremony, a walk together and time to properly take it in. That can be more than enough.
MAKE A DAY OF IT
Getting ready, your vows, a drive, good food and a drink afterwards. Small does not have to mean rushed.
BRING YOUR PEOPLE
Parents, siblings, children, your dog or just two witnesses. Invite the people who matter and leave the rest.
CELEBRATE IT
Champagne, a picnic, a pub, a nice meal or heading home to everyone. It is still your wedding day.
